How to make the cloud effect - the Kaszazz way :-)

Here's the materials I used to make my clouds from the Spring card.

  • 4862 Scallop Punch
  • TIM27188 Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass)
  •  9014 Card Pack Basic white
  • 4654 Scissor (4.8cm Blade)
  • 4913 Sponge
  • 1708 Super Tape - 50mx6mm double sided adhesive
Punch out a scallop from white cardstock and cut in half. Attach the other half of the scallop to the other half with double sided adhesive (as shown). Leave some of the adhesive exposed; put your finger to the adhesive so that when you apply your distress ink the clouds won't move and it will make it easy to lift the clouds template.
Apply the distress ink to the sponge and pounce the sponge at the edge of your clouds (as shown).

There you have it, nice and easy :-). Hope this tutorial does make sense..LOL. I am still studying on how to work our video cam and hopefully soon I will have video tutorial instead of instructions (distructions)... LOL!

    Have fun and be safe!

Rick-Rack design from a Square Punch

    Happy Friday everyone!

Question.... do you have any other usage with your square punch? If yes I would love to know what other way you can use your square punch. No...here is a little idea and I hope it can be in a good use.

    What you need:
    Square Punch
Cardstock or SB Paper (your choice)

Align the end of your cardstock/SB Paper from corner to corner of your square punch, as shown.

Continue the punching process to the length your require. Alignment is the key ... LOL.

This is what your finish product looks like - hope the instructions make sense, if it doesn't let me know :-).

If you want to see this RICK-RACK in action see this card.

Have a great day and once again thank you for your visit - TOHDOHLOH!!

    Transforming clear rhinestones to colored

    What you need:
    Re-inkers
    Sponge
    Clear Rhinestones

    1. Put a drop of re-inkers unto your sponge (depending on how depth your color to be you can add more drops or re-inkers).

    2. Dubbed or Pounce the sponge unto your rhinestone until all rhinestones are covered with re-inkers and you get the color that you like.

    3. Put aside to dry (for at least couple minutes or if you are impatient like me you can use your Heat Tool Gun). Thats It!

There you go how easy is that? If are going to try this technique I would love to see it:-). Click here if you want to see the technique in action.

Once again 'till here for now... hope you drop by again soon.

Please feel free to leave me a comment or a message that would be nice :-)

    TOODLES!!!

How to make a Paper Rose

    Hi Bloggers,

I must confess I have been addicted to making paper roses lately. I just love it because I can make it whilst watching TV with my family. It is so easy and fun to do. I will try to show how I make this rose but before I start I apologize in advance for poor photography; my daughter and my son were my photographers during this "rose making" experience. Ow! also apologise for the condition of my nails I just finished making cards and I have been using lots of Distressing...a big apology for my fat fingers too.... lol.

So - here we go, lets begin......
    Materials:
    4862 Scallop Punch
    4208 Glossy Accent
    4914 Bone Scorer
    4654 Scissor-4.8cm blade
71403 Chestnut RoanColor box fluid chalk ink pad-cat's eye
    6183 Card stock- Berry Red

    1. Punch out five (5) scallops from 5.5 x 21cm Berry Red cardstock.
Cut a slit from the first scallop (as shown)
Cut out one (1) petal from the second scallop
Cut out two (2) petals from the third scallop
Cut out three (3) petals from the fourth scallop

    2. Ink/distress the edges of the scallops with Chestnut Roan
Cat's eye ink including all the cut out pieces (as shown)

    3. On the first scallop (slit cut) overlap  (2) petals together, secure by Glossy Accent. Repeat this process to the remaining (3) scallops and the 3 petals cut out.

    4. Fold the  heart shape cut out into 4 folds as shown.
    5. Fold the single cut out petal into three.

    6. Take the large flower scallop, place your finger in the middle and push down until the bottom comes out flat.

    7. Snip the bottom of each flower scallop except for the large one.
    7. With the bone folder, curl each petals backwards to all the scallops, as shown.

    8. Once finished folding; your scallops should look like this :-)

    9. Insert the tip of your scissor in the middle of second last piece.
    10. Insert the last piece in the middle.

    11. Assemble/attached the scallops flowers from the biggest to the smallest by using the Glossy Accent, as shown.
