My Initial - G
Hi there again Bloggers,
Finally, had the chance to take a photo of my Decorated Initial - G. This is a challenge from a swap group that I used to be a member. Unfortunately before I could post my finished product the group was deleted from the cyber space.... lol.
This challenge was hosted by my father in law - Ron. He gave each participant the initial made of MDF and he also made all the initials (see his blog for all his beautiful project of scroll sawing - click here to go to his blog). His challenge was to decorate the MDF initials anyway we want and I came up with this.
I hope my father in law liked it and hoping you like it too :-).
I don't mind if you leave me a comment, that would be very nice :-).
Have a great and safe day.... TOODLES!!!

Cents in the Jar
I made this from a lolly jar (candy jar) that was given to me by a friend last Christmas.
When the yummy lollies all disappeared I thought I will make something out of it as it's such a pretty jar to throw away. So I decided to make it as my savings account :-). I put all the silver coins that I found around the house from 5cents to 50cents. Why only silver coins? Well with a 15 yr old around the house it is difficult to find gold coins (of course he do asked first if he can have the gold coins.)
Last month I emptied the jar so that I can spend it to the Craft show and I managed to collect $117.15 - good ha?

Handbag on Canvas
From This.....
To This.....
I find this so cute. As you can see in the previous image the bag is made from wood (scroll saw cut-out) . I painted the handbag cut-out with antique white acrylic paint and embellish it with beads. I also adhere a scrapbooking designer paper on the 13.5x13.5 canvas and the result...VIOLA!! So Shabby...

Clippies
These are fridge magnets or magnet clips made from wooden clothes peg or clothes clips. I painted the peg/clips with shimmer paint, decorate them and glued a magnet strip at the back.
This clippies went to a new homes; I gave them away to the lovely ladies who participated in my ribbon swaps from Swaps for You Group .
Thank you for stopping by. Have a safe day!
