Well hello blog walkers and g'day my blog followers,

Once again I have been MIA been so hectic in the home front lately. Preparing for silly season and time seems to go faster and faster every day.

Anyhoo.. just completed a layout and its my entry for December Sketch challenge over at A2Z Scraplets.

The Fairy charm was given to me by lovely friend Leis Fisher - Thank you Ms Leis. I sooo love the Fairy charm so cute. I made the white flower (inspired from Prima) and also made the Stick Pin.


This is one of the A2Z Scraplets I used for my layout. Cut a piece and painted it with Dabbers.


I also use this Corner 20. I cut them in two pieces painted it with Smooch.

I used A2Z Scraplets "Capture the Moment" words and I painted it with Distress Crackle Paint.

So there you have it hope you like my latest creation

Sugar and Spice Layout (October Challenge)

There is a challenge over at A2Z Scraplets Blog and thought I might enter. This is my first time participating the challenge with A2Z Scraplets.

My 4yr old DD personally hand picked the embellishments for this layout and I was crossing every thing including my eyes that she will pick the embellishments that will work well. I handmade the Satin lollipop flower (Pink Satin flower) and attached the sequence and feathers.

The title "Sugar and Spice" is from A2Z Scraplets - I love it!

Well - here's hoping that I made justice with this layout.

Little Miss Layout

Well here I am again another post. I will not going to bore you with my "Blahs-Blahs" from this spost.. LOL.
This is my youngest my 4yr old DD, I must admit she is always inspire me to create a layout.

In this layout I used Floral Frame 2 - PF, Butterflies and Words - Little Miss Laser Cut chipboard from A2Z Scraplets ... did I say I am so addicted to A2Z Scraplets?..LOL. I randomly decorate the Floral Frame 2-PF with beads. I hand made the tulle flower and attached the white button that I found from our local shopping center carpark - I think it's perfect.

A boy and his Dog Layout

Oh dear!!! what happened lately?.. Once again I have been MIA in the blog world; time just flew so quickly. I wish there's more than 24hrs in a day - now that would be perfect...LOL.

Anyhoo... during my MIA mode I have discovered a great product called A2Z Scraplets. Check out there website you won't be disappointed :-).. I however is addicted to their products; I love them all.

In this layout (this is my gorgeous son and his dog) I painted the A2Z Scraplet scallop circle with Alcohol Ink and Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The title "A Boy and his Dog" is also from A2Z Scraplet - isn't it cute? I painted the title with paint dabber then covered it with Glossy Accent to give it more of a 3D effect. The swirls from the left hand corner is also from A2Z Scraplet.

Hello there my lovely followers,

Firstly I would like to apologise for my absence, been so hectic in my part of the world. My family was attacked by nasty bugs (flue, sniffles and other nasty bugs) and on top of it my MS decided to give me a visit for couple of weeks so had a limited function on my hands and eye sights was blurry.

Anyhooo... just wanted to share this lay out that I completed before the nasty bugs and Multiple Scleroris (MS) invasion. I may say I am very pleased how it turned out considering I am not very good in making layouts of myself.


I used a lot of Prima Products on this layouts. I also used Kaiser Scrapbook paper, Zva Blings and other misc. products.

Well, till here for now have a fantastic and safe day or night :-).

My gorgeous in-laws...

I actually created this layout a month ago but for some reason did not post it sooner.. "why" I hear you ask??? Simple reason - plain lazy :-).

I so admire my parent-in-laws, they are just the best. Thank you Mum for always there for me and thank you for putting up with my winging and whining. I really do appreciate all your time and your unconditional love. Of course I have not forgotten my Father-in-law - my critters always say the best POP in the whole universe and it's true. Yes, I'm one lucky chooky!... to have a wonderful inlaws.

We love you Mum and Dad.

Hello again every one,

Ok.. I got struck by a "blog bug" at the moment - noticed few postings in one day .
Finally managed to get back into some challenges and this layout is my entry over at Simply Scrappin. I have handmade most of the flowers on this layout (except for the pink flower on the left hand side with flourish). I also used some rubber stamps and die cuts from Kaszazz. I think my DD's photos fits so well on this layout.

Hello guys,
Sorry for my long silence. Kinda busy with other not-so-crafty stuff recently, but its calming down now and I am starting to get back to my crafting, so hopefully I will be able to get back posting on my blog more often - fingers crossed!

During my MIA time I have managed to whipped a few layouts to keep my sanity during the busy time :-). This is my DH during his deployment, I think the photo or the layout explains it all.

I have to showcase some of my DH's medals here because I am one proud Army Wife and because I can...LOL.

Hi there,

If this is the first time you’ve visited my blog, WELCOME and thank you for visiting. This week I participate in a Blog Hop over at Simply Scrapping Crafts and this Month the theme was Seasons - to tell you the truth this is the VERY first time EVER that I participate in a Blog Hope so I am very new to this Blog Hopping thingy...LOL.

It's Autumn here in Australia but because I love spring time I decided to make a Spring Season Card not only because I love spring I just love this stamps from Kaszazz.

I color the flowers with Lyra Aquacolor and put some Stickles in the middle. I used Peeled Paint Distress Ink around the edges and used Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for my clouds. My apology about the lighting, its 12am here and my photography skills is something that need some serious work...LOL.

Becoming Older Scrapbook Layout

These is my DS (My gorgeous DS). These Layout is my entry for Sketchy Saturday over at Simply Scrapping Crafts. The flowers are handmade by me (from twine that I found in my kitchen cupboard). I am so pleased how it turned out. I am trying to create a clean and simple layout so that my DS's photo is the main focus.

It dawned on me that you are changing. I guess the fact that you are now taller than me and that I just had to buy you all new pants should have clued me in. But the changes I am talking about are not always of a physical nature.

For example; you like to gel your hair and not always the style we’d like to see (especially your Dad). You’re becoming particular about your clothes (as you say, the COOL clothes). You want the type of haircut you want, not the type we want. You always tell me, “I know Mum, I’m not a little boy anymore”, when I fall into REMINDER MODE.

Sometimes I miss my LITTLE BOY. But you are doing what you are meant to do, you are growing into your own self, and so far we love what we see. Thank you for being such a great son!

Sorry been a bit "slack" in putting some post on the blogging and commenting form. I have been attacked by nasty bugs and germs (suffering from bronchitis).

Anyways, I thought I share my first attempt in making Dahlia fold flowers and to all crafters that are expert in Dahlia Fold Flowers; I hope I gave it justice...LOL.

I'm a little disappointed with how this card turned out (Thinking of You). I thought I will use a scallop punch instead of a circle punch to make this card - It was much better in my head...LOL

I don't mind this card.. I handmade the tassel from a crochet thread (is that what you call them??).. can you tell I don't do crochet...

My DD just turned 4 yrs old in this photo. She is so excited on this day because she is going to her kindy to cut her cake. Due to the recent disaster that we faced here North Queensland we could not planed a party for her. Even though it was late celebration she had a blast on her belated birthday party.

I handmade the center flower from an old novel book and I sprayed it with Glimmer Mists. I am pleased it turned out OK :-).

The heart flourish on this layout is handmade by my adorable FIL, you can check out his blog for more gorgeous artwork.

Storing my Replacement Blending Foams

Hi there Blog Walkers,

Today I am sharing on how I sort my blending foams. I used to store my foams inside a container but doing it this way I found myself picking up a new foam when I using the Distress Inks and some times I found that I have doubled up the colors.

I soon sort that problems and it does really works (for me anyways).

I purchased some index tabs from my local news agency hmm.. I think for around $4.00, then I also purchased a strip of Velcro from our local dollar store and I paid $2.99 for a 3 meters strip. I place a strip of Velcro onto the index tabs and wrote the color of the replacement foams. I have numbered the index of the card and also numbered my Distress Inkpad, why doing this I hear you ask???... well this will save me time looking for the appropriate replacement foam from the pile.

That's it.. easy and not that expensive to create. For those of you who has the same problem I had, I hope this tip will also work for you.

This is how I store my Distress Inkpads..I put them in a container with labels. If I put the pads underneath the inkpads it does not store properly. I hope this makes sense..LOL.

I have no creations to share with you today but I thought I will share such an inspiration woman that I found on You Tube. Every words that comes out from her mouth is truly up lifting.

It comes at times my illness (MS - Multiple Sclerosis) puts me down and no matter how much I tried in convincing myself that I do not suffer from MS, it managed to crawl into my body and tries to beat me. But after watching this video I can truly say, " I can and I will beat Multiple Sclerosis".

I hope this video can inspire you also.

As I was sorting all the photos I found this pictures of mine that I cropped ( I have no idea or remembered why I cropped them). I have put on few thinking hats on how am going to create a layout for these small photos and... viola!!!!! I came up with this layout.

I used Dusty Attic, Green Tara and Primas for the layout.The SB paper is from Basic Grey and I handmade the lace flower. I hope you like it

Vintage Wedding (Soul Mate) Scrapbook Layout

This is our Nana's and Pop's wedding photo. This photo is so classy - I just love it.

Unfortunately our Nana is now in heaven and we misses her so much.

Dusty Attic and Prima flowers are just a perfect combination for this layout. I painted the Ornate Fence from Dusty Attic with Antique Bronze from Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint, I painted the Lamp Post also from Dusty Attic with Brushed Pewter Tim Holtz Distressed Crackle Paint. The birds (Song birds) are also from Dusty Attic and I painted it with Acrylic Dabber (Pearl).

I fell in love with the Dusty Attic products as soon as I lay my eyes on them and I love Prima Products too. The SB Paper is from Kaszazz called Jasmine Lee, the lace is from Kaiser Crafts and the Blings and trinket are from Prima.

I love the color combo of this layout and enjoyed doing a lot of paper punching too (gosh is this what I wear during the '90's? ....

A Fairy Day card

Hmm.. another project???? Well I guess I am trying to make up for the times that I was MIA.

Some of you probably heard of Cyclone Yasi that hits the North Queensland; hence the reason of me being MIA. One thing I can say for sure is " We Survive the CAT4-5".

After unpacking my craft stuff; (we were warned to prepare for evacuation ) I found this fairy and toadstool stamp and decided to create a card and this is what I came up with.

Hi Guys - I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and a happy New Year. It's been a while since I posted something on my blog place but it's been a chaotic silly season in our household, leaving no time scratch my own back - phew! so glad it's all over.

The opportunity to host my very first Team Training Day Event (TTD) was an experience which kicked my 2011 off with a bang . As a Kaszazz consultant, TTD 's are without a doubt the most exciting, rewarding and fun days found in the calendar. Occuring 3x a year; January, May & September, this is a time were Kaszazz releases new products and new projects to play with.

Held Nationally, the opportunity to host a TTD is given to recognised and invited Kaszazz Team Leaders and those in higher Kaszazz positions.
For me, this day provided a whole heap of fun thanks to being able to see and play with new releases for the first time before any one else - You too can have this fun experience, all you have to do is join the Kaszazz Team .

Although my excitement from hosting my first ever TTD is still lurking around I have a few photos to share with you all... Stay Tune!!!

How I store my sponges

Hi there again. I love the sponging technique and I seem to accumulate loads of sponges. I don't know about you but I myself tends to confuse the colors from time to time. To solve my problem I labeled them.

Here's how I do it:

From a circle sponge,I cut my sponge into 8 portions (wedges). I punched out some circles and fold them in half. I then insert the sponge wedges in between the half circle (I placed the wedges all the way to the score line to make it stable) then staple.

I store my sponge wedges inside this craft containers/beads containers and it store neatly .

If you have the same problem like I had before; I hope this storage tips can help you in organizing your sponges .

Cards for our Aussie Troops

We are so happy to say that our first box of Christmas cards for our troops are ready to be mail out tomorrow. Jac and I were so overwhelmed with the responses since 29th October 2010, the first time we published the Operation Write Home (Australia) to general public.

A millions of thanks to all the ladies who sent us cards for our troops.

All cards will be distributed to Afghanistan, East Timor, Solomons and other countries were our brave young men and women are serving.

Altered Recipe Holders (Scroll saw) - Scrapbook Lay-out

My father in law Ron made this recipe holder frame, check out his work of art here. I painted the frame , this is supposed to be a menu holder but I altered it. I am so pleased with the outcome.

This recipe holder is from Kaiser this is also a recipe holder. I painted it with metallic acrylic paint and decorated it with Prima Flowers and jazz it up. I think the photos of my children are perfect for the frame..

Yoda the turtle - Painting from Judi

HOW LOVELY IS THIS!!!! I received this hand painting from a lovely lady name Judi you can check out her blog here.

I have not met Judi face to face (met her online) but I consider her as a friend that I treasure. I helped Judi tweak her blog (just a small help from me) and when I saw the turtle that she painted and posted on her blog I just fell in love with her painting. After I told her about the painting I was so wrapped when she told me she will paint another one and send it to me - I was speechless.

I also like to thank Margaret ( Judi's friend) and her hubby for bringing the painting over to me - what a lovely couple they both are. Margaret is such a sweetheart and very friendly too. Thank you Margaret and Hubby for what you have done.

This Turtle painting is now hang beautifully in my craft room and always gives me a smile every time I look at the painting. I named the turtle Yoda, my DH also adores the painting and wants me to put the painting in our living room - Duuhhh.. what would be his chances??? NADAH!!!!. Yoda will stay in my craft room...

Thank you Judi for the painting. I will treasure this forever.

Trick or Treat (Holloween)

My three year old DD went on trick or treating and she wants to dress up as a witch. Nearly every house that she knocked told her that she is a cute witch and she always replied, "Yes I am a cute witch".

Unfortunately some of the houses do not believe in Halloween and do not have any lollies for her and told her that they do not have any lollies and her replied was, " It's OK, you can go to the shop and buy some lollies and I will come back tomorrow", hubby, the big brother and I turned red have to apologies - a bit embarrassing but sounds cute.

She did really well on the night she filled up her pumpkin container with lollies and yep! I have to deal with sugar rush as daddy lets her have all the lollies that she can eat - not so happy mum.

October 20 was my dear friend Jacqui's birthday and I made her this decorated canvas. I was pounding my brain out on what to give her but I don't want to give her some thing bought from the store and I came up with this little creation. So glad she liked it :-).

Operation Write Home (Australia)

Hi there and thank you for visiting this page.

Recently my hubby asked me to make some few handmade Christmas cards to send to his mates that he left behind overseas (Afghanistan/Kuwait) and he also mentioned that there are no shops over there to purchase greeting cards to send home – then I had a light bulb moment; thought it’d be a great idea to send blank cards to our troops overseas to send home to their loved ones.

The next morning I rang my gorgeous and reliable friend, Jacqui and mentioned to her what I was planning to do; with no lengthy explanation and with no question ask she said to count her in. In the same day I also mentioned the idea to few girlfriends and they too asked to count them in and they are willing and eager to help in any way; in less than 24hrs we created a small group for the project -now Operation Write Home (Australia) is born.

Last year I organised “ATCs for our Aussie Troops” when my hubby was deployed in Afghanistan and I am so pleased to say that our heroes who received the ATCs was so pleased and amazed about the handmade art work from each individual. I have collected at least about 600+ ATCs last year from friends and from my fellow forum members. And the most thrilling about the “ATCs for our Aussie Troops” projects was when we started receiving personal emails or letters from our troops overseas thanking us and telling us how much they appreciate our art work- that was priceless!

If you wish to participate in Operation Write Home (Australia) and like to lift morale and put smiles on our troop’s faces, we welcome and appreciate you!

You can also include a well wishes and a note of support - will guarantee that it will reach to our troops.

Few Guidelines.

(Yes, unfortunately there have to be some guidelines.)

1. No GLITTERS please (from ADF guidelines)

2. Use less metal embellishments - a brad or two is fine.

3. Your card MUST fit into a C6 envelope (no bigger please)

4. In a separate piece of paper include your Name, Address and E-mail address (if no email address your home address is fine).

Hi there,

Been awhile since I posted some project on my blog. I have been a busy beaver lately; school holidays and my older daughter came home for a Uni break and stayed for 10 days. The kids surely kept me on my toes.

But all good though my eldest DD and my DS has been such a big help. I had a Kaszazz Workshop last Friday and I made this cutie bags to put the maltesers for the host and her guests and they just adored the little bags. Christmas Card - Won 2nd prize!!!

Well - once again Kaszazz Team Training Day (TTD) has came and gone! This is my 3rd TTD since I became a Kaszazz Consultant a year ago and as always it is always such a BLAST!! A big thank you to Natalie Lindsay (Kaszazz Consultant) for coordinating such a fun and exciting TTD.

Anyhooo... more about the TTD later I am more excited about this card :-). Why you may ask? Well - this card won 2nd Prize on the day and I have never won anything in any competition before so I am so wrapped about this winning.

I used Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint in the background of my Memories Moo card. I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads for the background of my Fashion Moo card and stamp the image then colored the image with Twinklette from Marvy Uchida. I made this set of card for one of my hostess as a gift for hosting a workshop. Basically just a little appreciation gift from me. The box can fit 6 cards and 6 envelopes. I had so much fun making this card set.

How to make the cloud effect - the Kaszazz way :-)

Here's the materials I used to make my clouds from the Spring card.

4862 Scallop Punch
TIM27188 Tim Holtz Distress Ink (Tumbled Glass)
9014 Card Pack Basic white
4654 Scissor (4.8cm Blade)

4913 Sponge
1708 Super Tape - 50mx6mm double sided adhesive

Punch out a scallop from white cardstock and cut in half. Attach the other half of the scallop to the other half with double sided adhesive (as shown). Leave some of the adhesive exposed; put your finger to the adhesive so that when you apply your distress ink the clouds won't move and it will make it easy to lift the clouds template.

Apply the distress ink to the sponge and pounce the sponge at the edge of your clouds (as shown).

There you have it, nice and easy :-). Hope this tutorial does make sense..LOL. I am still studying on how to work our video cam and hopefully soon I will have video tutorial instead of instructions (distructions)... LOL!

These are my version of the Waterfall Mini Album. I tried downloading the video version but it took like forever for Blogspot to upload ***sigh***. So I guess I'll just settle with the Slideshow version for now...LOL.

One of the mini album was made by my DH; I must admit he surprised the living daylight out of me when he showed me the finish product' now he is suggesting that we should make the Christmas version... hmmmm ***maybe***.

I used the Turquoise Ancient Page Inkpad to transform the Sticky Gems - Pearl from white to Turquoise to match the color combo.

Using the sponge, grab some ink from the inkpad and dub the sponge to the pearl and the result VIOLA!! Coordinating embellishment :-)

Here is another card that I made last night. For some reason I love using punches - can you tell?...LOL.

I punched larged flowers, small flowers and the butterfly and used black embossing powder.

Rick-Rack design from a Square Punch

Happy Friday everyone!

Question.... do you have any other usage with your square punch? If yes I would love to know what other way you can use your square punch. No...here is a little idea and I hope it can be in a good use.

What you need:

Square Punch
Cardstock or SB Paper (your choice)

Align the end of your cardstock/SB Paper from corner to corner of your square punch, as shown.

Continue the punching process to the length your require. Alignment is the key ... LOL.

This is what your finish product looks like - hope the instructions make sense, if it doesn't let me know :-).

Trio cards for the boys

Today is my DS 15th birthday and last night I made him a birthday card and he just love his birthday card in fact he asked me if he could take it to school to show it to his "homeboys", well that's the word he used anyways - "homeboys".

I only made him one card but thought whilst I am at it I will make one or two and I came up with this creations, hope you like them :-).

Looking through our wonderful world of cyber world to get some inspiration I have noticed there aren't much handmade cards for the boys but there are tones for girls.

Perfect Siblings Lay-out

Look at this faces - looking like an angels (falling from heaven). This is my DD (20yrs old) and DS (14yrs old). I love this photo and I have been putting this photo aside because I want to create a good layout and find a perfect SB Paper. Thank goodness Kaszazz came up with this gorgeous SB Paper.

Transforming clear rhinestones to colored

What you need:

Re-inkers
Sponge
Clear Rhinestones

1. Put a drop of re-inkers unto your sponge (depending on how depth your color to be you can add more drops or re-inkers).

2. Dubbed or Pounce the sponge unto your rhinestone until all rhinestones are covered with re-inkers and you get the color that you like.

3. Put aside to dry (for at least couple minutes or if you are impatient like me you can use your Heat Tool Gun). Thats It!

Teeny Weeny - Inchie

My new addiction!

Hi there, thank you for stopping by. If you been here before thank you revisiting my blog and if this is your first time - WELCOME and hope you enjoy your visit come and visit my blog from time to time :-).

I have started creating inchies three months ago and I must admit I really enjoyed making them. First time I told hubby that I am making some INCHIE his replied was, " What on earth is INCHIES?" and I showed the card stocks that I already cut-out and he gave this words " Yeah right how could you possibly decorate that teeny weeny piece of paper?" Oh DH, bless your cotton socks you have no idea what Paper Crafters can do... LOL. When I showed him my finished products (completed Inchies) he loved them and said "AMAZING!" now his helping me cutting INCHIES... LOL.

This week one of the lovely lady MARLA from the swap group that I am a member of - (and such a sweetheart I might add). She wrote on her profile that her new addiction right now is making INCHIES. I was so happy to see there is a member in the group that into INCHIES also. Well, you guessed it the wheels start turning and now we have a swap for INCHIES in Swappers Hub Group and being hosted by our lovely MARLA PAUL. Thank you for hosting Marla :-) surely quite a challenge.

My Initial - G

Finally, had the chance to take a photo of my Decorated Initial - G. This is a challenge from a swap group that I used to be a member. Unfortunately before I could post my finished product the group was deleted from the cyber space.... lol.

This challenge was hosted by my father in law - Ron. He gave each participant the initial made of MDF and he also made all the initials (see his blog for all his beautiful project of scroll sawing - click here to go to his blog). His challenge was to decorate the MDF initials anyway we want and I came up with this.

I hope my father in law liked it and hoping you like it too :-).

It's A Girl Thing - My Older Diva

Hi there,

If you have been here before thank you for dropping by again but if you are a first timer I hope you enjoyed your visit.

This is a project that I made for my older daughter, she just turned 20 last week (12 of July) - my where's the time gone? They grow up so quick ***sigh***.

I have this cookie jar that I bought for $2.95 from our local discount store. I bought the jar to store my craft nik-naks but it did not work, so I put the jar away for months. After ramblings my head for months trying to think what I can use the jar for and I came up with this... lol.

I cut out my daughter's photo, fold an inch on the bottom of the photo; applied a glossy accent to the bottom of the picture and attached the inch fold on the bottom of the jar to make the photo stand up properly. I lightly colored the cotton balls with Pebbles Inc Chalking Set to give me a cloudy effect. I stamp the Shrinky Dinks with the butterfly and colored with the ink pads and punch them out. The rest is just a matter of decorating the jar.

I had so much fun making this project even hubby helped me decorate and he also suggested some ideas.

My little Princess in training to be a DIVA

Here's my little DIVA... My DD just love the camera. Every day she will asked to "Cheese her". She'll say "Cheese me, Mummy, cheese me" that means take her photo.

I punched the A4 Vellum #1913 with the Kaszazz Butterfly Punch #4854 from and colour the Vellum butterflies with Smooch Sassy Pink #70422. I embossd the flourish #4892 (chipboard pop-outs Flourish & Brackets) with Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Powder called Worn Lipstick #TIM22954.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for visiting my blog.

I must say that I am not having a very good week especially an awful weekend. But I thought instead of bottling it all in inside me and get so hype up about it, I will treat myself to some "crafting Therapy" surely a lot cheaper than a real therapy... lol.

I had this new crafty toys from "Collections". I have fallen in love with "Collections" products and a friend of mine Michelle is so addicted to chipboard at present time and she introduced me to "Collections" Products. There are lots of layering with this project but lots of fun to do.

I painted the chipboard frame with acrylic paint and applied the "Damask Rubber Stamping Technique", I thought it came out really well.
